I took a break from bass fishing today to see if I could locate some crappie for an upcoming crappie trip. I started out trying to find some crappie shallow without any success. I started looking out deeper and found a tree out in twenty feet of water on my Hummingbird Sidefinder that showed fish all over it. I marked it and about an hour later I was culling to upgrade my limit. I had one that was a little over 15 inches and one right at 14. I was using 1/16 oz tube jigs on 4 pound line. Color did not seem to matter.
