Got off to a late start at 10 am, with my friend David. Misting cold rain for the first hour improved to uncomfortable.

We fished deep water dropoffs at first, catching 8 keepers including 1 14in. crappie. A lot of current and up river wind made fishing difficult

We moved on to fish more protected docks where we caught fish using 1/32 oz. jigs.We had around 20 keeper fish by now.

Made a run to another dock where we found good fish. Several 13-13.5 in. crappie. We caught these fish in 4-6 fow.

We must have caught another 20-25 keepers.

Made a run to another dock where big fish again were in 6 fow. Caught another 20 here.

We ended with 71 keeper crappie on the clicker with (2) 14 in. slabs. All released. A great day with quality fish!

BG MG Sunrise was king

BG MG Ghastly minnow always good

BG albino shad good
