Free Kid's Fishing Rodeo

"Cabela's King Kat Tournament Trail also hosted the free Kids Fishing Rodeo for the local youth and 80 youngsters came out to enjoy one of the nicest days of the year. For many it was the first time they had ever been fishing and several kids caught their very first fish. We want to thank Colbert Co Tourism, Food Land and Sheffield Park and Rec. for helping make the kids rodeo such a great time for all. Each participant is now entered to win 1 of (6) College Scholarships that will be drawn in Oct. at the Crappie USA Classic", said Tabor.

Cabela's King Kat, Crappie USA and our anglers have contributed nearly $302,000.00 to the "Kids" Scholarships since 1997. We are very proud to be a part of the education process for the youngsters who participate in our tournaments as adult/youth teams and those who fish in the Cabela's King Kat and Crappie USA "Kids Fishing Rodeos".
