Lathrop State Park Opens for Boating on April 1

WALSENBURG, CO. - Lathrop State Park will open to boating on Friday, April 1. To prevent the spread of aquatic nuisance species (ANS), including zebra mussels, quagga mussels, and Eurasian watermilfoil, all vessels must be inspected prior to launching.

Martin Lake and Horseshoe Lake will both be open to boating starting April 1. All vessels must be inspected when entering and exiting Lathrop State Park. The inspection station will be open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week.<br />
