Clark spoons. Troll for them the same way we do for spanish mackerel. Long fluorocarbon leader behind a #1 planer, or just naked on top.

I've never tried live bait for bonito, more so because i've never had a need to. They are easy to catch. I suppose you could chunk for them, and use mullet or small pogeys.
