LMAO...I meant, what program.....silly.

For your Avatar, click on your name, then in the upper right corner, click on Edit Your Forum Preferences.
Down in the middle of the page, there is "user icon" click on "choose a file". This will take you to whatever program you have you pictures in. Click on the picture you want however, you may have to down size it first.
The number for your picture will show up in the box. Click upload.
Then click at the bottom to save.

Same thing with in line pictures, except if you want the picture IN the post, at the top of your message screen is what looks like a picture frame. click on that and it will ask you if you want to in line one of the pictures you now have uploaded at the bottom.

Another way to do it that I use is photobucket.com I store most of my pics on there and you can copy the link into the post and it will show up as a full size pic like this.

The only problem with Photobucket is, if you do ANY changes you loose the picture on the site, but I agree, that is the easiest....most of mine are Photobucket.

It is free and easy, plus great editing/cropping feature. Just copy the "img" and past it in your post...there it is! I like the pictures in a post much better then clicking on the links. If there are a bunch of links, I usually don't look at them all, but pictures in the post are cool! Look at the picture and a description right there.

Something else to remember is that different browsers have different options. IE has the option to add inline pics, but Google Chrome does not. I do not know about Firefox or others. I find it is easier to just upload the pics to the forum while composing a message so that the pics are on the forum server and will stay linked with the message and not disappear like Photobucket. Just remeber to downsize you images before uploading.

Also you may need to resize you pics. There is a link to a resizing tool on the bass fishing board. I use it. simple and easy. Here is the link to the thread. I can resize for both avatar and inline posts.
