First Bass of the Year

First bass of the year in Maine. We lucked out. Usually don't catch them this early.

Caught him on a night crawler. Only fish of the day. He didn't put up much of a fight.

At least your catching fish, i have had like 8-12 hits this last weekend no fish, i think i'm setting the hook, i just don't know if the I need to wait to set the hook so that the bass has a chance to turn around the bait if it takes the tail so i can hook it. Nice catch.

Nice way to start the season. Water temps here where 48 degrees. They didn't move at all when they took the bait. Their just to cold to be active.
