My "first" BIG largemouth bass!
#1
Tell me what ya think of this fish I caught. This is my first "big" largemouth bass catch. I was fishing a private pond for crappie and this baby hit my line....He was caught in 2 foot of water, 4 foot from shore!

Now you'll be hooked into bass fishing. As the water warms up you'll find alot of bass tight to shore. Warm weather, go shallow.Welcome to BFT.

[left]Nice catch, i catch my bass around the same depth in the water, around the lake closest to my house there is a huge i mean huge and thick weedbed along the bank circling the pond, i take a wacky rigged senko or texas rigged weightless and find a spot that i can hit many spots along the shore line, about 5-10ft out trying to get in the weedbed, before the weed bed and outside the weedbed making multiple casts.

Very nice bass and hope you released it! Try to get the whole fish in the photo in and use your body as a reference for size.Other then that you did a good job, after you release the fish cast in the same area with a different bait to entice another hit.

Thx everyone! Yes, I released it. I don't keep any kind of fish that I may catch and I certainly don't eat them, I think it's YUCKY! lol [fishin]
