Not much said here on fishing out of a boat so I thought I would give my report. Started fishing about 7:30 a.m yesterday morning and we trolled till about 12:00 p.m. Not one bite after throwing the whole tackle box at them. We decided to anchor up and throw worms and caught about 5 in an hour. One being an 8# hybrid. Went back out again in the evening and trolled for about 2 hours and nothing. Anchored up on a different weed bed we found on the fish finder and caught 3 more and lost another 3. Hope this helps anyone headed up with a boat this week.

Thanks! Glad you found a few willing to bite! I"ve heard the same from numerous boat fisherman-one guy claimed to have "killed 'em" trolling but I'm doubting it since 100% of the others I talked to didn't touch one trolling. Also heard the same with the bait-anchor up and you'll get a few.[fishon]

Thanks for the report. The guys I know trolling ended up anchoring and bait fishing over by the cliffs. Said the bite was good on the pick.
