Power Bait

[cool] Do you use Power Bait? How many colors do you normally cary with you?

Do the fish in your area change thier color preference from time to time?



I use power bait once in awhile. I carry roughly 18 colors in a kit mostly because in some areas, the trout will change color preference about every 20 minutes. What is your experience with Power Bait?

[font "Arial"][size 2]I don’t use power bait and have never tried it. So I can’t help you on that. But when casting for small fish I always put a small piece of cut fish on the hook. This will add smell and make fish take the bait better and hold it longer.[/size][/font]

That is true. I do like meat baits myself. I am not the full on PB expert, I just like to use it once in awhile to drum up odd catches. Thanks for your input.
