Best scent bottle scent?
#1
I have been look for yum f2 but the wal mart in my town doesnt have it. I saw garlic, shad, crawfish, and a few others. I have heard that garlic works best with bass. The scent was salt and garlic. Is this true? Also if there are any other scents that you guys know about please share with me.

Ok,hear this,I bought a 100pk berkley power worm,I mkow they stink alright, anyway I asked my nephew if he dared my to open the entire 100pk in Alfreds truck with 4 guys inside. He gladly agreed,so just before the landing I cut into the fist seel, then opened the ziplock,O god if you see faces, and here cussing,as soon as I opened it,I thought for sure Alfred was going to throw me out,man that was funny, even on the boat, man that smell stays with you,I don't even smell bass on me ,all I smell is power bait.I got a 4lber,Franky got a 5lb on my stink bait, thats what they kept calling it,hooked one "cypress trout" with it "mud fish"I might mix in some misc worms to get scent on them,I had to put them in the garage, man they really stink bad,hey Edgy, Alfred and I caught the same bass today,it ate his finness worm and my power worm,we counted it as a bass for each of us,I set the hook first and was the one who really landed it,I noticed his line near mine,I thought we were crossed up,,be then again new we weren't,from the way we cast,he called it poaching cause I cast on his side,Franky wasn't fishing at that time thats why I cast on his side, anyway I wanted to count that bass for me,team Paul and Franky still lost, our totall today was 70,I got 19,good for second.I've been wanting to mention this to you, Alfred is a paraplegic......I'm glad life gave me the opportunity to meet him,I've never met such a dedicated freshwater fisherman,he has 20 years under his belt bass fishing,2 8lbers,3 7's and lots of 6lbers,I sometimes feel bad I caught a 9.9 in his canal, plus I caught him trolling but I was holding the rod, thats were he gives me credit for my catch,I'm sure he didn't mind cause deep down in his heart,he was glad to know there are big fish outhere, waiting, plus its the biggest bass he's ever seen,he tells me all the time how he just loves to see big bass, especially the way they run down his worm.Heres some pics of Alfred,a good guy,he also hunts. My wallmart got rid of lots of stuff and is fishing section is smaller[shocked].I just picked up a light action berkely cherrywood 2to 8 and got a mitchell 500 for it,I missed 4 in a row today plus I pinched down the barb,I finally got one in the boat,I used 4lb fire line crystal.I used a size 1 worm hook with a 6" twirl tail worm from strike king. Talking about your bike ,my buddy used to pull his boat on a small trailor on his treck ,this was in Jersey though,I wish I had seen that, his trailor has big plastic wheels with hard rubber for tread,so I believe it..He crashed once down a hill,he told me he couldn't stop lol,I found bikes around and in my lake,2 were fixed up ,includingv one from the lake, both bmx,one mongoose, and a huffy, each raced out, mongoose has alliminum 155mm cranks one piece with a 13t casset for reer, with chain tentioners for each, one is a Yess chain tentioner. The huffy has stock crank but I put a 52t chainwheel,I also run a 13t for reer hub.I run arobars on the huffy, each bike has speedometer, each bike can reach 30mph+,each bike also has extra long neck for handlebars, higher seatpost which are angled back,so you sit furthur back, high pressure tires Maxxis,up to 110 psi, nice spring loaded seats, but not that granny seat.I love to ride my bicycle,I still take my bikes out fishing till this day even though I have a boat.Man, you got to make a vid of the adventures with your bike. Sorry for the spam,I'm just worked up still from fishing today, usually I can't sleep the night before, and even worst I can't sleep the following night.[Image: sleeping.gif] I'm going to see when I will post all the fish I've caught in just my lake, including the Peacock bass.I also have 20 years under my belt, most of this work was put in here at my own lake....Paulpro knows fishing like Boknows baseball.

I have two words for you... Smelly Jelly (bass hammer, craw daddy)... I was using Yum spray and was getting bit but my hook up ratio was way down. A friend suggested smelly jelly as it will stay on for quite a while, and man was he right! You have to bring a towel with you as you apply it with your fingers, but man is it the bomb!

Edgy, I am sure Cabela's or BassPro has it... Smelly Jelly is just like, and made by the same company that makes Sticky Liquid, the jelly is just a lot thicker, kind of like chap stick, works great! Just do a search on the net, the flavor I really like lately is called Bass Hammer a crawfish scent with small glitter that comes off in the water...

Ok so does this stuff work on artificial baits like worms, and maybe some hardbaits?

Yes, both soft and hard artificial lures. The thing is it doesn't just wash off right away, it lasts! We use it a lot trolling, really stays on... I always cover my bait with the stuff and then work it up the line a foot or two too. Good stuff man give it a try!

I love Gulps Crayfish attractant spray. I use it all the time for smallmouth bass. It is killer on SMB's.
