Bass fishing
#1
So I caught my first bass a couple of weeks ago at Ririe. My son will be coming for a little vacation around the middle of Oct. and I need to know how late in the year is the bass fishing still good. Will I need to go a little south like Glendale or ?????

It all depends on the weather, but I was knocking them dead in the Preston area last October. All the lakes are pretty good then.

Usually by mid october the water temps are getting colder. You can still catch bass there, but it is much more difficult. It really depends on the year, but I would say it is too late to be practical.

I would just keep an eye on the weather. It's way warmer than last year so far, and the extended outlook is looking like a warm September/October, so it could still be really good.
