Bruneau River Tilapia

Headed out to the middle of nowhere to do some camping this week and I wanted to know if its worth trying to catch one of these fabled Tilapia. I know some have been caught in random spots in the river with hot water but I guess this is some sort of breeding ground for em. What would I use for bait? Corn?

I'll probably not even see one but ya never know till ya try!

Apparently they can be caught on small flies and worms too.

No tilapia but caught a lot of smaller whitefish in the Bruneau and then went to CJ which was very productive! I caught the largest bass I have all year! Perch, bass, crappie, bluegill... good times. The hot springs were excellent as well. Definately going to re-visit the place soon.
