Headed up to the cabin this weekend, does anyone know how Henry's is doing? Heard most of the fish have moved to the creek mouths and inlets. Have the weeds kind of diminished of the top? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Last I heard was from last Tuesday. At that time the fish were packed at the creek mouths like you said and people were having a field day picking them off. Didnt hear of anything large but sounded like it was pretty steady action. I didnt get many details but when my father in law can catch a fish, it must be hot.

Don't know about the fish, but the boats are stacked up at the inlet. I did just fine out from the docks and the Cliffs. Brother did fine over at the County.
Lotsa fish with a few big ones in the mix.

Good to hear, found out I don't have classes friday and am going to take the chance to head up and see how I can do. Will be my first time out on a toon. Wish a guy luck.
Also don't over look the outlet... Fished it last friday night and found some suprisingly decent sized brookies kicking around.

Thank you for your input. I was going to hit the duck creek and cliffs area. Had good success last year throwing a halloween pattern just in front of the weeds.

Hoping the cold weather drives some of crowds away, and stimulates the bite. Thanks for the tip..... I will have to break out my " purple show girl " and take here for a dance.

I fished it last Sunday from a boat with a buddy of mine and his kid. We trolled spinners at 2.3 right under the surface and the action was furious. We boated 26 from 8" to 4 lbs including 2 nice 18" brookies. We got there real late...5pm and only fished for 2 hours !! The lake still feels like a big kids fishing pond to me, and there were a LOT of boats out there. We fished north west of the launch.

There are fish everywhere . The state park boat launch is like it was this spring . The fish are swarming the bank again . We were in a boat and caught fish at the cliffs and in the middle . We were bait fishing and there were boats trolling by so close you could almost shake hands with them when they went by . The whole lake to fish and they have to run over our lines ? The parking lot was packed ,I have never seen this many people fishing the lake this late in the year . Curt G.

I got to think we can thank the wide world of internet....it is becoming a VERY popular lake. Hope it can stay that way, but I sure miss the old days (I am talking 5 years ago[laugh])
