Topwater with cranks.
#1
Had a wierd experiance wednsday at Boomasheen in Vt. Not Haveing any luck with topwater all week at any lake up there. I thought out of desperation even though the water was 61 degrees. I tied on a wiggle wort that had worked in the past. Was cranking it for ten mins with no hits. I made one more pass and leaned down to adjust the fish finder, gave the crank a tap so it just went below the surface and fish on.[crazy] Tried this again and got 3 more fish. [sly] The moral is you just don't know how they want it presented. Topwater with cranks maybe the answer. [Wink]

Congrats,I too learned of this meathod,by getting a knot.I stopped the lure and bam.We use a rapalla we actually named Bob,cause you just kind of bob it on the surface, sometimes even stop it for a few seconds, then barely twich it,cause most the time the bass are right under it.Sometimes I remove the tonge on lure,or rig it backwards so it stays on the surface, then drag it on top sometimes. My buddy Franky crashed and went to a prison near his home, its really Alfreds buddy from Guyana.I've posted some pics with him, just thought I'd share, everyone was ok[Image: scaredworried.gif][inline "Frankies crash.jpg"]

They got caught fueling at other airports to save on gas money, plus they were overloading the plane, this plane was to heavy to take off. 2 pilots got sentenced 6 months and probation. Franky who I fish with.[frown]

I had a happy Christmas thanks,my thoughts and prayers were with you.Imilly my Christmas day was even better,I caught two bass including one close to 23",may even been the same bass I caught last time, later I will post a better picture of this bass I noticed a big bass from my boat, tried for him and nothing, later after my return I made a few cast with my 10 power worm from shoar "pumpkin seed".Luckily I had just put new line for Christmas,as the party was winding down,I began winding up some 15lb powerpro. It may be the same bass from my 443 earlier entry, this one was 5lb.9,and close to 23",I took better pics on another camera[Image: bobwink.gif] [inline "new entry,.jpg"] Imilly,I got you something for Christmas ..[blush]
