Swan Falls Smallies
#1
I'm going camping this weekend down at Swan Falls. I will be camping at the camping spots down the road below the dam. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for this time of year? I was thinking about drifting a worm, but I'm not sure. What do you think?

I was also wondering what, with the colder weather rolling in, my chances of maybe catching a trout are? I'd rather catch a trout, but I'd be ok with some bass or cats. Smallmouth bass are kinda ugly looking in my opinion...

Thanks [Wink]

Halverson is one of my all-time favorite fishing spots actually, its home to some monster gills, I won't be able to make it up there this time though. You think I should drift a worm on a three-way swivel sort of bottom bouncing? or should I use a bobber? Should I cross the dam and then just fish right there? I've heard good things about that spot

when i fished by the outlet ( boat launch, paved road side ) i just used a #4 hook with roe or crawler and just enough spit shot weight to tap the bottom
