Senkos, Senkos, & Senkos(Jordanelle)
#1
[#800000]I finally had a decent day at Jordanelle. I listened to myself threw nuthin'(well, almost) but SENKOS, baby. My 5 fish sack weight about 9 1/2lbs. I used 3", 4", and 5" 157 colored Senkos. I ran them with a splitshot/mojo rig(its a light carolina rig). I just drifted close to the bank. Yes, I snagged. But, I only lost two hooks and straighened out another. My first 1st weightable limit their this year. I had bigger sacks, but you know what a 5 1/2lb kicker fish will do for ya. Going for an encore performance again tomorrow, before going to the dentist in the afternoon. [/#800000]

[cool]Hey, tomegun, do you own any small spinnerbaits? An informed source tells me that yellow, chartreuse and white spinner baits, retrieved about middepth parallel to shore, have accounted for some decent fish the last week. This guy fishes them about the same speed as a small perch being reeled in and chased by a smallie. Had one boil on his bait at the tube last week that was scary. According to him, the splash weighed six pounds.

Guess you don't need to go down to Pineview anymore. Congrat's on your fishing success. See what you did? Now I got the urge to fish the Nelle again. How many did you catch in total and weren't the perch tearing the Senkos apart? What part of the Lake did you fish, near Rockcliff?

Good luck tomorrow hope you break the 10# mark this time!

Welcome aboard! Another newbie! Well it looks like it worked. Where do you like to fish? What kind of fishing do you prefer?

I prefer Bass fishing. I enjoy Jordanelle, Deer Creek, Pelican and Starvation. I also go to Strawberry and Scofield a couple times a year .

[#800000]Today I was back to catching rats. It was a beautiful both at the lake and the dentist. Water temp barely hit 60 degrees. Air temp was about 80. I got a little sunburned[blush].[/#800000]
