I'm not usually a big pay-to-fish lake anglers but I thought a special mention of a good deal was reasonable.
There is a special pass now avaliable (how long I don't know but) from Santa Ana River Lakes (SARL) that will allow you to fish from Friday night until Sunday night for 60 bucks. The limit of catfish is 25 for the 48 hours but this price includes a pass for either an additional adult or two kids.
Sounds pretty good to me. They say they are planting more cats to wind up the catfishing season.
If you like this kind of fishing it might be a pretty deal. The offer is good for both SARL and thier sister facility Corona Lake. Additional info can be accessed at fishinglakes.com.
