Anyone been fishing?

Just wondering if anyone has been out or just nothing to report.

The last time I was out on the lake was about a month ago. It seems so slow that its not worth the gas without some kind of hookup. Also I was getting burned out and getting skunked was not helping.

I thought I'd wait for another month to get out on the water. Hoping prespawn will awaken the bite.

I figured I would get as much honeydo's done on the weekends that when the fishing picks up, I'll be able to get out without any hassle from the wife.

Also this spring, I hope to do more trout fishing around Eagle Valley/Echo Canyon. Maybe hit Cave Lake or Illipah during the summer months.

Eagle valley and the kirch is fun for trouts! I might try to get out there tomorrow. If nothing else will be good exercise. You know, your looking like you want to excercise too.

I went out today. No bites. no bites in places I had gotten bites 10 days ago. Must have moved

I hit Mead Saturday. Beautiful day. Caught 4 Stripers and that was it. The west end of Las Vegas Bay was full of Stripers but very picky. Tossed the net for a bit and only got 2 Shad. Caught 3 on frozen bait and 1 on the live and that was it. Threw about everything in the boat with no luck at all. Cranks, scrubbers, A-Rig, Jerks, etc, etc

I haven't been fishing since before my bronco took a crap on me. the last time I hit the water was November I think, my truck took a crap on Christmas night... but now I got a new-used truck heck yes!!! headin out to the lake this Friday with the family we will see what we can get. will post up report[fishon]

Launched yesterday about 12:30 at Callville. Fished in 2 coves on some main points (Sandy Cove) and one secondary point from 20 to 50 ft...nothing. Then the upstream point at Hamblin Bay. No bites, no sign on the graphs either. Highest surface temp was at Hambin Bay off the rock piles...57degrees
Finished right at the tire line on main point where there is usually at least one nice smallie to be caught. Nothing there either. There is a free floating tire outside the tire breakwater so be cautious exiting and returning
