Fall and Winter fishing spots

[size 2] I'll be honest I do not do alot of Winter fishing but I was curious what BFT members in the California area do.[/size]

i like to fish the calico bass! i use a big big big sardine on a 4/0 hook. i like to fish the kelp at catalina.

its fun fishing the calicos in the winter because it takes a little more skill. not to brag! haha.

also...patience is a big factor in fishing calicos in the winter time. you have to present your bait slower than usual and leave your live bait out there longer.

the bigger calicos usually bite more than the smaller calicos during the winter months. well....it seems like that to me.
