Utah Lake 3-15

Took the boat out for the first time this year. Launched from AF and fished between there and Lindon. Water in the harbor was 49 degrees. It was 51 on the main lake and 54 in the shallow areas near the reeds.

Beautiful day with water like glass, but we did not catch any fish. We talked with a couple bass anglers who were also skunked. There were also several people fishing from shore who came and left in a brief time, and we did not see them catch anything.

Carp were rolling the the warmer areas--especially back in the reeds.

I hit the bubble up for about 2 hours that morning. Fishing was slow but learned a bit about the area and figured out how to make some less than cooperative fish bite. They were all over the screen but getting them to hit was another story. Very light bite but did end up with 10 whities.
