Homemade Belly Boat Cooler - AWESOME!
#1
I made a homemade cooler for my belly boat a few years ago. It works so well, my buddies all wanted one. So I made a You Tube video on how I made it. Now when someone asks me to make them one, I send them the link.

This design has proven to keep our food and drinks cold for hours, even in 90+ degree weather. check it out and let me know what you think.

Mine costs less than $6 and it's for a belly boat. I find that most belly boats don't have coolers in them from the factory. Caddis has one, but it takes up the whole precious side pocket. I made one for the side pocket on my Gunnison, the problem is... I need as much room as I can get in those pockets for my lures and such. The back pocket seems to be our favorite spot for a cooler since we're in that pocket the least amount. At first we weren't sure how tough it would be to reach it, but found it not to be any problem at all. Thanks for the link though... I might actually consider one of those for my personal pontoon.

Great minds....it is a great idea. I just know he has several patents on his product and just thought this might be a heads up.

Welcome to the site, sounds like you are going to be a wealth of info. Hope you stick around.

Good idea! Thanks for the info. I have an extra bag for my toon that I am thinking of. Right now I haul around a small lunchbox cooler that I got at home depot. But if I needed one for another tube I now know what to do. Oh do you put your worms in there as well? [cool]
