Hello All,
Dfg of California stated a large amount of King salmon would be available this year, and there is!
We have had great trips since the opener with good early season quality with averaging 10 pounds and up the low teens.
We fished the usual haunts like Muligan's and Soquel Hole in the Monterey Bay with good to excellent results. Today we battled heavy seas and wind to get our anglers into fish. check the photos below.

Great news Capt. Don't think that my fly rod could haul one of those dudes in. But still would like to give it a try.
