Hey everyone I am coming from out of state to visit some family in Nampa and am bring my boat. What should I expect at Lowell I have never fished there.
Also if anyone who knows the lake wants to go out with me on Saturday I will have room.
Thanks!

Expect lots of brush and weeds. The fish will be anywhere from 6" to 6'. Where the bigger fish will be depends upon the weather.Just use whatever you like to fish that is weedless. You might look for past reports on the lake.

That's actually not a bad idea. While it was back a week or so ago when it was warmer, the fish were packed up against the bank in like 12 inches of water. We couldn't get in close enough with the boat and not spook them cause the water level is fairly high. Good luck.

I'd flip the trees for largemouth. For smallies run to the buoys for no wake hit the north shore, go west and crank the shore. There is lots of man made structure and it usually holds fish. For colors flip blue and black and crank whatever you want.

If it's anything like the flooded cover I fish around here in southeast Idaho, I would throw soft plastic jerkbaits up in the brush and trees.
