Stonefly aka Trout candy!

What color is its belly?

The nymphs are great as well as drys. I would put on a golden or grey/green stimulator dry fly.

I saw some out a week or two ago when the weather was warmer. Things are speeding up. Summer drys YES!

I was out yesterday on the South Fork and I saw a bunch of them crawling around on the rocks. Looked like they were ready to take flight soon. I was a few on the water, but as I followed them, nothing came up to eat them. Hopefully soon they'll start keying in on them.
