So, your special someone is a diving aficionado who always makes it a point to explore the depths as often as he can. Well, if his birthday is coming up, you might want to think of a gift that will be in line with his passion for diving. Here are some simple and relatively inexpensive ideas.

It’s simple and thoughtful. Giving your loved on a set of diving t-shirts like these from Bottom Crawlers is one way of showing how much you support his passion. Most diving shirts won’t cost you more than 30 bucks. So, it is relatively cheap. However, if you are looking to save money or give him a shirt with a custom-design, you may want to make the diving shirt yourself. It’s easy. Just get several cotton shirts in varying colors. Visit a local crafts shop and purchase iron-on shirt transfer designs that are about diving. Go home and start ironing those designs on the shirt. Within a few minutes, you should have a few shirts with custom diving designs ready for wrapping.

Underwater MP3 player
The ability to listen to music while exploring the depths of the mysterious ocean floor is something that divers used to dream of back in the day. Today, it has become reality with waterproof mp3 players and earphones. Here is a good one from Amazon that only costs $60. Other models and brands are even fitted with a timer and a camera. Of course, those are the more expensive ones.

A Special Diving Trip
Whether you have been nagging him to spend more time with you instead of diving or not, a great birthday gift idea for him will be to go on a vacation with him to a diving spot that he has not been to yet. For instance, Tubattaha Reef, situated in Palawan, Philippines, is one of the most sought after diving spots in the world. With its rich ecological ocean floor complete with its critically acclaimed coral reefs and wildlife, this is one place that most divers should visit. Book a trip for the two of you and enjoy what this special place has to offer.

Aside from these three, you can always give him common diving gadgets and tools like an Aqua Lung diving knife, a dive light, or a $100 dive watch. However, it would be smart to spy on what he already has before you purchase as you may end up buying something that he already has.

I am a scuba diver myself and though my gear is already completely, there are still a lot of things that you could give divers and more importantly, things that you are assured that they can use on the regular.

It would not be wise to go about and give them suits because there are specific inclinations for each diver.

A simple underwater gadget would be nice, probably a music player to get things right by. That should really be nice.
