Heading to Cascade for Perch

I am planning to take the kids (girls ages 6 & 8)up to Cascade for some Perch fishing in a couple of weeks. I have a new to me 18' Alumacraft with an 80 jet Merc, no fishfinder as of yet, that we need to put some fish in. We have never been fishing at Cascade. How's the Perch fishing this time of year? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and hopefully many pics of the kids and a pile of fish will soon follow.

There have been a few reports lately, but not many. Search for them and some of the ice fishing reports as they had more detail on the areas. Probably won't be the same but maybe the general area.
