Lake Ray Roberts guide report
#1
Things are doing well at Ray Bob. Black Bass to 4lbs are coming on secondary points and back in pockets with some type of grass or shallow cover. Bummer Worms in watermelon candy from bigbagbaits.com are still catching fish but RattleTraps are coming in to their own. Use a color that you feel confident in because you will have to cover water till you find some fish, then concentrate on that area and others of similar structure, and cover. The main key I have found is deep water (15ft or more) within of few yards of the cover.

Saw one man fishing for Crappie under a bridge, and he was catching some nice Crappie.

Water temp was running in the low 70’s Saturday, but should cool down more in the coming weeks. In my experience, Ray Roberts will stay hot till the water cools below the mid 50’s.

Till next time

Good Fishing and

GOD BLESS
