Okay folks...I am relearning how to fish. Growing up we had a little boat and a few choice places that always produced fish...Now 38 I just bought a boat after 20 years. Here's the problem, my secret to catching fish was always to go with someone who was allready catching fish on that particular body of water....not really an option for me now. So here is my question.
If you were me, fist time on a lake, how would you go about finding fish? Walleye is my favorite. Also love Pike and bass. take this question in as many directions as you want.
As far as equipment, I have a 20 foot Nitro 288 with a 150 Merc. 70 lb thrust trolling motor. HDS-5 Lorance gps/fishfinder. pretty wide assortment of rod actions and reels...as far as lures and such...assume I have it or will buy it as soon as I read your post.
