looking at the stocking records you got a 2/3 shot at it. Seems like they do about 2 kamloops to every hayspur rainbow that they put in there.

Thats what i kinda figured sure wish they would get some more size to them tho. lot of food and plenty of cover i don't know why Oakley doesn't produce some trophy trout.

Might be that it does but they key in on different things once they hit a size range. I remember reading an article a few years back on trout diets and how with browns once they hit a size range their diet flips from 80% bugs and 20% on other fish to the opposite. May be a similar type of deal that you have going on with the bows in oak or you guys just eat em before they can get too big!

Well that very well could be but they always seem so fat and full of crayfish im not sure if there are a lot of minnows but something has to keep those walleyes huge. lol i know a lot of them are taken for table fair i just educate them and release them lol

I have a question, I have never been to Oakley Reservoir. Where do the floattubers fish on that lake? If I get there early I need to know where I should concentrate my time. Can anyone help a fly fisherman out?

Most work the rock point straight across from the ramp and that shoreline south. those fish up there love leach patterns, your looking at depths to 30 feet in that area right now. good luck [cool]
