Cleveland Res with the boy

Ran up to Cleveland Res. yesterday with my son. Threw everything we had at them, but only caught a few (he caught a few) on some powerbait. Was wishin I had my jig box. There's ice on Huntington, and Cleveland but nothing solid yet. Probably another week, if the weather doesn't cool down, before capping completely. Just being up there got me excited to do some fishin from the hard deck.

as ya seen i think we did ok on them football bow's in there.. ice is still way off most the ice on huntington and cleveland is gone as of yesterday.. need some cold.

I thought that might've been you...fishing picked up for us once you got there so you must be good luck. Aren't those lakes usually frozen by now? We should hit the ice together...

yeah the lakes should be iced up by now.. guess it's going to be a late start this. year..
