Where to go?
#1
Just wondering where to wet the line within a couple of hours or so of SLC. It will be me (intermediate) and my dad (expert) flyfishing. Thinking of the provo or weeb but I would much rather fish smaller waters. Is it too cold to be fishing these area's today? feel free to PM me as well. [cool]

The middle has been very productive for me the last few weeks... Most of the fish were hooked on pheasant tails and sow bugs. I used some larger sow bugs I tied with rainbow dubbing and fish tech has some great little rainbow bead head sow bugs that have been workin great. Winter I usually stick to sow bugs as the dropper fly on account of the food supply being scarce other than sow bugs... I used a large beadhead pheasant tail (14-16) as my top fly and had a few on that as well. Look for slow water and riffles behind rocks. The fish are just sitting there waiting for bugs to hit them in the face. If you present them right they will swallow them right up!
