Port Mansfield Jetty and South Padre Island Surf report.

Well I got a report from one of my fishing buddies.The Bull reds were thick on the surf and around the Port Mansfield jetty saturday along with plenty of Mangrove Snapper and a few pampano..Bull reds up to 40+ inches were caught on finger mullet, cut skipjack and shrimp.The Tarpon are still hanging around but stayed about 100+ yards away from the jetty end, except for a few lone tarpon that occasionaly wander withing casting distance.The next month or so should be some of the best fishing of the year on the beach and jetties of South Padre Island.
