Went for a ride today at lunch and stopped by newton... It is froze over as near as I could tell 3 inches maybe 4 I didn't have auger or ax so I didn't venture to far out.. Threw a big rock out that I got to break the. Ice then put my hand in the little hole it made and that is my guess 3 inches... If someone is going out there tomorrow let me know would like to go but won't go alone and my fishing buddy is out of town... Ice was extremely smooth with no snow on top so bring yer cleats the little I walked on was scary slick lol... Hope it helps some of you in your weekend adventures! Be safe if you go out I onl went 15' off shore so I don't know what the middle is like so as always check as you go and have all the right equipment just in case!!
