Anyone know if palies res has any ice on it going south for new years and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the ice thanks

I've heard that there's ice. Fish, I can't vouch for though.

A couple of weeks ago, it was my estimation that the place was dead. I could be wrong and there might be a few that survived.

The water is all the way down to trench level.

The lake was mostly iced over yesterday, and the water was up a bit from when I was last there (about a month ago). Not sure about the fishing, 'cause I just drove up there to look around.

Just hit Palie today and it has slush on ice. There is close to 2 inches of good ice but you will be standing in about 2 inches of water and slush on top. The lake is filling up fast and it is causing water on edges and on the ice. it is strange ice. We did not dare venture out far from the dock. Just before ice on the fishing was fairly good but the biggest caught was only about a pound. The fish did survive the low water though which makes me happy. I am going to give it a few more days to see if it will get better.
