Launched again from Boulder around 9:00 AM. Motored over to the cove just south of Castle Cove. Definitely a glove day for driving the Skeeter. Cleaned up the boat some and have it together today.

Tried suspending and ripping a jerkbait. Nope. Shaky head: nope. Picked up one maybe 2lb. largemouth on a 5/8 oz. jig in about 25 ft over some chunk rock.

Dropshot in a proven hole and noting....Fishing really slow. Wind out of the north and variable speed but not like the 30th.

Went to PIg Pen, layered a bit and saw two divers spearfishing. That had to be cold. Fished the shady shore and picked up one smallie on a shaky head...again in about 25 to 30 ft.; that was just outside the brush line which is about 25 ft now with water levels up

Finally cold got to me and pulled into Heminway Wall, but nothing there dropshotting. Ended the day trying the east bank inside the harbor for no bites.

Surface temp by afternoon 58°
