Narrows at Pineview

Oh where oh where to begin? Well Bent-hook and myself arrived at the narrowsaround 6 this morning with a temp of -5. Started our venture down the hill and onto the ice popping holes here and there till there was some suspended fish were located. Sure enough on the 2nd hole there they were. Fished that spot for about 3 hours with only a few small crappie and a few dinkster perch. Decided to move a little deeper and fished in about 40'. Still nothing huge but a lot of fish on the finder (crappie I believe cause they were suspended at about 30'.

The narrows were holding a lot of fish but small, atleast where we were.

Now for the good part. What I am about to show you will blow your mind! Bent-hook figured enough of the Crappie and Perch action and tied this on trying for some musky. Really he caught this somehow some way. Everyone knows how light the bite is. How he saw this one is beyond me.

I was out there last night from 6-11 and got into quite a few crappie not a single perch though. I also caught a crappie about that size blew my mind, but then again i was able to manage a hand full of keeper slabs as well.
