Bayliner Revamps Deck Boat Lineup for 2013
#1
KNOXVILLE, TN- Bayliner is proud to announce the introduction of an entirely new lineup of Deck Boats for the 2013 model year. The Bayliner 190, 210 and 215 Deck Boats mark a complete overhaul of the series, as Bayliner's 197 and 217 Deck Boats will be retired as part of the 2013 model-year changeover. The new models are sporting sharp, contemporary looks, impressive people and storage capacity, and unparalleled versatility thanks to multiple configuration options and activity-focused special packages. This revamp of the lineup comes after Bayliner conducted extensive market research among recreational day boat users to determine what deck boat customers wanted out of their boats. With so much to offer big crews and fun-loving families - from cruising to watersports to fishing - Bayliner's all-new Deck Boats have the Capacity for More.

"As customers' needs and tastes continue to evolve, Bayliner is working hard to refine our award-winning product offering so that it aligns with what today's boater is looking for in his or her next purchase," Bayliner Vice President of Marketing Matt Guilford said. "Bayliner's goal is to be the industry leader for recreational boats under 21 feet, and our all-new Deck Boat lineup signifies a significant step in that direction. With their amazing versatility and updated styling, we think they're a breath of fresh air in a stale market."

Each of Bayliner's new Deck Boats is available with a standard helm windscreen or an optional configuration that includes a full wraparound cockpit windshield, giving customers the flexibility to choose a layout that adds more wind protection. Likewise, the new Deck Boat fleet includes a sterndrive-powered model (215) as well as outboard-powered models (190, 210), so whether you boat in the freshwater of the Great Lakes or along the saltwater Gulf Coast of Florida, there's a Bayliner Deck Boat that will meet your needs.

Bayliner's Deck Boats' "Capacity for More" is as much about the activities and fun onboard as it is about the actual raw materials it takes to make great days on the water happen; these models outperform much of their competition in terms of how many people and how much gear they can accommodate. The persons capacity on the 190 Deck Boat is 11, while the 210 and 215 Deck Boats accommodate up to 12.

Passenger comfort and safety were as important as capacity to Bayliner's Deck Boat product-development team, leading to a deep cockpit freeboard, the use of ergonomic seating, more cushioning along the sidewalls, and the plush, elevated upholstery typically seen on pontoon boats. All three new models feature "pontoon-style" L-shaped cockpit seating, which allows passengers to stretch their legs. Each new Deck Boat has a portside bulkhead that functions as a high-capacity storage area, or it can be upgraded to include an optional portable head for all-day comfort onboard. Their spacious bow seating areas have cushioned backrests for lounging, and easy-to-reach grab handles and cup holders. The sterndrive-powered 215 Deck Boat also features an adjustable rear-facing transom bench/sunlounge, offering passengers a comfortable spot to enjoy the "back patio." And to ensure a comfortable and confident experience for drivers, Bayliner developed an all-new helm design for its Deck Boats with upgraded, easy-to-read instrumentation and a sport steering wheel.

Storage can be conveniently found throughout Bayliner's Deck Boats. In addition to innovative under-seat storage compartments, which can be partitioned based on your needs, all new Deck Boat models include a cavernous in-floor storage locker that can accommodate skis, water toys and other gear.

The versatility of Bayliner's Deck Boats extends to their special packages. All three models are available with Bayliner's signature Flight Series package, which ups your watersports game with a stainless steel wakeboard tower with integrated Bimini top and adds sporty Flight Series graphics to the hull. The optional Fish Package gives anglers all the tools they need for successful outings, such as a wireless MotorGuide trolling motor, aerated livewell, Garmin fishfinder, dual casting platforms and chairs, and dedicated rod storage.
