Checking in to see how the fishing is doin around riggins. I was up there on the 8th through the 10th and didn't have any luck. Not even a bite between three of us. I spent a day on the little salmon, one on the main salmon above and below riggins and then a day on the Clearwater.

Went up again the 16 and 17 and riggins was still slow. We landed one small steelie and seen a couple of smaller ones pulled in on boats.

what were you using... I know a couple of people that have been doing fairly well around riggins, all they use are bobbers and custom colored jigs....

Using bobbers with jigs. From black to neon in color. Tipped w shrimp, roe, smelly jelly or no sent at all. Bouncing roe, shrimp, corkeys in even more colors. Mostly stuck with the normal combos. Heading back up in a couple weeks with a boat to try some better holes. Probabley going to fish at cascade till then to get some gratification and try out some of my new ice gear I just picked up. 5 solid days of fishing and not catching anything can really be anoying.

Know some ladies that went up a couple weeks ago and boated over 10 smaller ones with local guide and I got a report from a couple guys that went up this last weekend that got skunked.
