Any chance you mean "where" instead of "who"?

The shore line is very uneven and full of brush and trees. It's hard to find good places to shore fish.

You can't float on Holmes.
This is why it is so popular when there is ice.

With that said, try looking for places with shade and cover for the fish to hide in.
In the spring, fish close to shore using small jigs tipped with worm. You can do this with or without a bobber.

You may want to also fish at Adams Reservoir. It's a lot more open to shore fishing and it allows floating.

For walleye and bass I walked up and down the west shore and used 2.5 -3 inch tube jigs, in dark red, green or white. I would sink them to the bottom and jig the bottom, lift and sink, the tend to hit on the sink. The hour or so before and during sun down to dark seemed to produce the most hits. Cat fish in the north west cove around sun down was fun too.
Good luck!

i mainly want to fish holmes creek because there is crappie. Is there crappie in adams, i haven't checked in a while. i have fished adams in a canoe. Some of the fish in the weed in the far side from the dam are big buggers. Never hooked into a fish at adams. What i mean by big buggers, is that the fish that have bit and i have seen in there are big fat fish[fishin]
