Weber tagged cuts?
#1
I understand, according to the Sun. Trib. that the DWR has recently planted lots of tagged cuts in the Weer River. for research/migration purposes. Reading the article, it didn't say what the every day fisherman is supposed to do after catching a tagged cut.???? [:/] Anyone know?

P.S. Couldn't find anything on the DWR site.

Put it back in the water! Weber River is closed to the Possession of Cutthroat from the GSL up to Echo Dam

The tags are called PIT tags and they are not something you wil see unless you cut them open. They are inside the fish in the body cavity, the only way to tell if they have one is with a PIT tag reader.
