tricky bear lake

Went to bear lake Sunday there was still about 9to 10 in of ice got out ther around 730 it was a windy day I guess it was 30 mile per hour winds but the fish where hitin but I just could not get a good hook set I missed 4 my buddy missed three we where in 80 feet of water from 7 till 7 it shut down around 230 its sucks I finlly strated to figured that lake out this year lol except how keep the hook in but the ice is going away I didn't get to fish it as much as I wanted and I probly won't get to get back up there cause I don't have a driver lisecen right now but would love to get back up there I have a 20 pounder in there with my name on it lol mabey next year but even with the wind still had a good time I was very thank full for the tent we had couldn't have done it with out it

sounds like deja vu all over again. Glad the ice is holding up. Did you get on the west side, or what? Edges still holding?

Sounds like the fish were hitting at least, most of I got was looking. Frustrating! What were you offering them?

I was over by the by the rock pile the edges are not so good just tube jigs and spoons I really wish I would have had some Cisco I'm sure that would have helped mabey next year I will hit it and get some
