This weather we're having is starting to drive me crazy. We're not getting the snow down south like you funny Wasatch Front people are getting, but the wind is supposed to pick up today, and tomorrow (Saturday) is supposed to be cold and windy.
The new boat is feeling neglected -- or, maybe I'm must getting antsy!
The ice is gone from Minersville -- so it is still an option, but I don't know if I want to go deal with the wind.
I'm going crazy.
So I spent two hours yesterday sitting in the Heppy Hooker parked in the driveway. My wife enjoyed it -- she didn't have me to deal with in the house. I'm considering sleeping in the boat. Win/win for me and the wife, right?
Am I nuts??
(where did March go?? oh well. April is sure to be a good month too!)

Yes this weather is driving me insane. I was suppose to go camping this weekends but it's to cold and it looks like its being delayed till next week but still the weather is going to suck. With 30% of rain isn't going to stop me from having a fun spring break let's just hope the wind wont be that bad or no miserable weather change at last moment.

It actually sounds like your wife kicked you out of the house? She couldn't take the whimpering any more.
Things could be worse. You could be working all weekend like I am. Why don't you just watch basketball or better yet, grab the fly rod and hit a local stream. I did that on my day off this week and thoroughly enjoyed myself, trying some new techniques. Minersville will be there next week, so will Sand Hollow. Then the tough decision will be where to go.

You're not nuts, its just spring fever. [cool] I got it too. Got all my gear ready to go and what happens? It gets cold, windy, and rainy (also snowy). Gotta love spring. Hope you had fun lawn fishing.[:p]

That's what I've been doing, and it has helped immensely. All the lakes up north are frozen solid. Streams are better than nothing.

yes hate this time of year. hard to find safe ice or open water. but soon we will all be out there . no worries.
