Flaming Gorge ice ????

I am wanting to end my ice fishing season with a bang at Flaming Gorge but it is a big drive for me. Does anyone know if there is ice I can fish on? I am wanting to catch some burbot and a big lake trout any advice or hints on where to go? Keep in mind I only have a car.

Firehole. I was up there last week and it had close to 3 feet of ice.

The road is paved all the way there.

I haven't found where the Mac's hide at firehole, but it is a really good place to hook into some Burbot.

Thanks for the info!!! if I catch a Mac I will let you know but I really love the test of burbot so they are my main goal! last lime I was there I just got two so I am hoping for better luck.

6 poles in a semi circle is my preferred method of getting them through the ice. Good Luck to ya.
