Rough Day at Minersville
#1
I went to Minersville on the wrong day! After hearing about how awesome the fishing was, I went this past Saturday, and as luck would have it, there was a marked decrease in temperature as well as stiff wind. I fished from 9-4 using spinners, nymphs, buggers and cranks. I mostly fished the eastern side by the dam, it seemed to be a slow day for most everyone, though I did see one guy catch about three small ones on a flashback beadhead. The one fish I caught was caught on a silver crankbait. It was a little bit discouraging but I will say that Minersville is a very pretty area and I may try it again someday if the weather stays stable.

Oh crap! Well that is minersville for ya! Hot one day and cold the next. Seems to always be the story down there. Hopefully things change when I get down there Mid-April.
