Anyone know if there is enough snow on top of the ice at the berry to snowmobile on? I understand the ice and the edges are good but there needs to be enough snow on top of the ice to cool and lube the track on the sleds.
Anyone know if there has been anyone that has broken the trail so you can drive a truck in to Renegade?
Thanks

This is probably to late for you now, but we fished Strawberry Yesterday(Friday) and there was NO snow on the ice at all very hard at times to stay verticle. Ice is around 20 inches thick I would guess.

Thanks. We did try the sleds today and almost melted the track to the hifax.
It would be great travel conditions for an ATV. Might even save a backside from impacting the ice to be on a machine.
Fishing good for this time of the year. All in the slot.
I may take some ice skates up next week for my last ice fishing trip of this season [cool]
