Preston Ice

Drove up to Preston yesterday afternoon to get my boat tags. Took a look at half a dozen reservoirs on the east side of town.

Was to see them still iced over (with only a couple small pockets having thawed). [frown]

Alas, I guess I will have to focus on work for a few weeks more whilst I keep the fever at bay.

I share this simply because I suspect there are others hoping (in vain) to scratch the itch... [fishin]

I have made several trip in my boat. The Snake river near Hagerman is up to 58 degrees now. Ron

I'm not a river guy myself. Just into the small reservoirs that are close by and my puny boat can handle. Lamont, Johnson, Glendale, Foster, and Winder still have a wait...
