STELLWAGEN BANK, MA- Cod Fishing 2/13/01<br><br>Paul Song’s group from Englewood, NJ made their second trip north to fish Stellwagen Bank’s shoal water. Song has been using the internet weather sources to target favorable days during the winter months for his trips. Capt. Scott found the schools of medium cod feeding on herring. Once again,jigs and teasers "matched the hatch" allowing the group to fill the coolers with doubles of "market" cod from then North end of the Bank. With cod fishing as good as it gets, Song’s group is again scheduled to return in a couple of weeks. If the weekend weather turns favorable, Capt. Tim’s 39 BHM, ALLIE, will guide groups on Saturday and Sunday. Cancellations were warranted on the weekend and through most of this week due to gale force winds.
