Anyone ever heard of catfish eating fruit

catfish eating fruit? fig berries dropping from a tree,anyone heard of something similar happening..I saw this yesterday and today,they were eating the same berries I use to catch carp,pacu and Mayan cichlids.
I believe its called a green fig berry

Yes I have. My nephew had a peach tree that hung over the water and the cats would hang out under it and eat the peaches. We caught some with peach slices and they had peach pits in thier stomach. I've also seen them eat mulberrys.

catfish will eat anything ... including ivory soap....

put an old sock on your hook, I bet you would catch a catfish..
