Ice on Bear Lake????

[shocked] I just read Pugstone's Bear Lake fishing report and he predicts ice on the Bear Lake this winter. I for one hope he is wrong and besides it is pretty early to tell.

Well Idaho my hopes are completely opposite from yours, I for one am praying it freezes over. Since I don't have a boat, when it freezes is really the only time I can get into all the fish!

I think it starts the first week in December but the last couple of weeks we have caught them while jigging for macs but not in any big numbers. I bet you could catch them now if you were targeting them on the Rock pile or the area where the macs have spawned. WH2
